A True Home Away from Home
Our daughter, now 4.5 years old, began her journey at Wellington City Steiner Kindergarten two years ago, and we can confidently say it was one of the best decisions we’ve made as a family.
After struggling with noisy, overstimulating centres where she never quite settled, we were amazed at the difference Steiner made. The calm, nurturing environment and the gentle, grounded approach of the teachers helped her feel safe and seen right from the start. What felt overwhelming elsewhere became peaceful and familiar here.
The teachers at Steiner have become like an extension of our family — so warm, caring, and deeply attentive to each child’s individual needs. Their level of care goes far beyond expectations. They don’t just teach; they guide, support, and nurture with genuine love and presence.
We are so grateful to have found this magical place. It has given our daughter not just a safe space to grow, but a strong and beautiful foundation for life.
It is a beautiful space, both inside and in the garden with mature trees and space to play. Our daughter settled straight in and loves it there. A very natural setting with soup and home baked bread. Highly recommended!
