We absolutely love Queens Pre School, especially the baby room (under 2s). The teachers are experienced, caring, and genuinely attentive, and the space itself is beautiful and calm. I really appreciated that the baby room is a separate environment with its own lovely shaded outdoor play area.
Our son transitioned into the centre at 8 months and the process was incredibly well supported, which gave us a lot of confidence. The small centre size, high staff-to-child ratios, and overall welcoming vibe make it feel like a very special place. I would highly recommend this centre to other families.
Choosing a preschool was overwhelming, but from our very first visit, we knew this was the right place. What stood out immediately were the lovely teachers, many of whom have been there for years. Their long-term presence creates a stability that truly makes it feel like a home away from home, and you can see how much they genuinely care about each of the tamariki and their families.
Both of my children have attended Queens Preschool and have thrived. Queens preschool is a home away from home with loving teachers and great ratios. Being a small, community based preschool there is a real community feel and we have made great friends with other parents along the way. I highly recommend Queens preschool!

Both of my kids have thrived here – my daughter since she was 4 months old and my son since he was 5 months old. It is like a great big family, not just a commercial business where we were just a number. If you want great learning, relationships, and your child to be part of a loving and enriching environment then this place is right for you!
We have been lucky enough to be a part of the Queens Preschool whanau for the past 9 years. Our three children have been loved, nurtured and educated by the amazing staff and are curious, resilient kind little humans that have transitioned easily to school thanks to everything they have learnt at Queens. With such a small number of kids you can rest assured that your child will be truly cherished at the centre and that they will receive the one-on-one attention that is so important for their development during these formative years. I couldn’t recommend Queens Preschool more highly
