This policy should be read in conjunction with and forms part of My ECE’s Terms and Conditions.

My ECE’s privacy policy is informed by the requirements and principles of the Privacy Act 2020.   Your privacy interests will be protected in a number of ways. My ECE will not pass on your name and email address to any company or individual without first contacting you concerning this and to ask for permission.  However, should you have indicated when completing a complaint form that you are agree for your details to be passed to the Ministry of  Education only to contact you direct, then this will be taken that permission is given for this purpose only and your details and identity will otherwise remain strictly confidential.

You can unsubscribe from the My ECE mailing list and from the Parents’ Council at any time,  by clicking on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any email sent to you by My ECE.  Your details will be treated as confidential.  My ECE will not sell your details.  You have a right to request and receive a copy of any personal information held on you by My ECE.  Contact us with your request.

The publication of email addresses on this website, including My ECE’s email address, does not give consent to unsolicited email. Any emails sent to My ECE and to any individuals or organisations whose email addresses appear on this site must comply with the requirements of the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 (Department of Internal Affairs’ website).

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js,analytics.js and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.
