Community Ownership:

Small Boutique Centre: Centres with 50 or fewer children make it easier for staff to provide a warm and nurturing environment, for children to have their individual needs met and skills, knowledge, and competencies extended. (Ask: For continuity of care and relationships, do children stay with the same group of children and teachers throughout their time at the service?)

Small Boutique Centre:

The wonderful staff at Neemo have built a beautiful community that is unlike anything I’ve seen or heard about with other daycare facilities. Kids high five and greet other parents, the babies can say each others names as some of their first words, and families are embraced and included in daily life at the centre . The focus on learning is very strong from a very young age – our 1 year old taught us sign language that they’d learned at Neemo! Every day is a new activity – baking, climbing, obstacles, making music, learning dance moves, it’s our toddlers favourite place.

Both our daughters have attended NEEMO and loved it. The teachers are caring and provide lots of different activities to expose them to different experiences and challenge them. Julie makes wonderful food on site everyday and the girls love it when they get to help make the food. The sandpit and outdoor play area are great and keep them busy. The daily updates as to what the kids are up to are a highlight and conversation starter for us.

we joined last June. my two children are going to Neemo Child Care Centre. they are 3 years and 5 years old. I am a mother. I am a student and a part-time worker. father is a full-time worker. we are Sri Lankan. We appreciate the excellent care and attention that our children receive at your childcare centre. The staff is always friendly and nurturing, which puts our minds at ease. We’re impressed by the security measures that ensure our children’s safety. We value the regular updates and open communication about our children’s activities and well-being. Our kids are thriving with the educational and fun activities you provide. Overall, we are happy with the care our children are receiving at your centre, and we’re grateful for the support you’ve provided.”

Our son loves going to Neemo. The centre provides great multicultural environment, heaps of daily activities and meals prepared on site. The staff are caring, friendly and supportive. Highly recommend.

Our boy has been with Neemo since he turned one. He has gone through different stages and luckily, he has got all the loving, caring and inspiring teachers around him. He met his best friend there. He loves the food there. Me and my husband are delighted to see how our boy develops his skills, learns about different cultures, and tells us about what he does everyday. Thanks to all the teachers!

  • Rachel

Excellent. My kids both love it.

We love sending our daughter to Neemo.

We love how it is so multicultural (both the teachers and the children) and how they introduce different nationalities to the kids through celebration and festivities, singing songs and learning the different languages.

My daughter’s social skills, verbal skills and sense of exploration developed tremendously during her time at Neemo’s.

She gets along with the teachers and are very fond of them. She eats well, sleeps well and plays well.

We feel so grateful that it is near our home, which makes drop offs and pick ups so convenient. We would highly recommend Neemo to anyone and if we are ever blessed with more children, would be happy to enrol them at Neemo, too.

I want to express my deep gratitude for the exceptional care and support you’ve provided to my daughter since 2011. Your commitment to nurturing a safe, enriching environment and your team’s dedication to early childhood education have been invaluable. We are sincerely thankful for the positive impact you’ve had on our daughter’s life.

My son stayed at Neemo for 8 months. I really appreciated teachers helping him grow and I have seen him learning so much. Teachers are really friendly and always ready to solve our queries. Brittany always helped us to understand account department. My son is really going to miss Neemo. Thank you so much for all hard work you have done for my son.

Neemo has cared for my daughter for 4 1/2 years and treated her like family. The centre runs on a fantastic philosophy similar to the principles of Magda Gerber and this fitted so well with how we were aiming to parent. There were always multiple activities available each day to stimulate and inspire the children. The centre manager and the centre owner are both so kind and caring and the staff work so hard. The meals are included in the cost here and the effort the chef puts in to see kids eating healthy Kai and learning to make some too is amazing.
Wouldn’t want to send our child anywhere else.

Neemo is a great Childcare centre. We started sending our child at the early age of 6 months. She looks forward to daycare as she has fun. The daily activities for the under 2 Koru classroom was quite engaging and helpful in developing good skills. My child has learnt so many things including being interactive, confident and independent here. The staff are professional and care for the children a lot. The teachers are friendly easily approachable. We had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend this Centre to all parents.

I am always thankful to Neemo for looking after my boys. They loved it and staff were very supportive. I personally liked their outstanding support given to our kids and family considering our unique circumstances. Unfortunately, we had to stop because of personal circumstances. Thank you Neemo!
I know I am super late to write the review. A big thanks to Kamini and Komal!

My son loved coming to Neemos. All the staff members were very friendly and welcoming from the beginning. They helped him for easy settling in and trying different food over there. Thanks to the teachers for all their efforts.

  • Kristin

Our son went to Neemo when he was 4 until he started school and he loved it. He made a little group of friends straight away. The teachers were always very encouraging and fair. There was always a good range and variety of food given to them. A great environment. But, sometimes lacking in communication.

  • Cara

My son went to Neemos for 3 long years and they really brought him out of his shell and made my shy lil boy into someone who was a lot more confident. Also, Neemos really helped me out when I was pregnant with my second and showed so much support which I’ll be forever grateful for. They really did make my life so much easier. The staff are so friendly and really take their time to give updates about your child’s progress which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, we moved and neemos was too far or we would have kept him there.

We transitioned our daughter to Neemo when she was 13 months old. The teachers in Koru room were very friendly and helped us setup a routine for her. They were amazing with the mat time, teaching etiquettes and care. When she transitioned to Kaponga room, she loved all the interaction with the new teachers and has been picking up on learning alphabets, numbers and poems. The teachers are extremely kind and helpful and couldn’t appreciate them more for helping us raise our daughter. Both Kamini and Komal have offered Admin support and have been helpful in resolving our queries.
Cheers to the team; we will surely miss you!

I had my first born at Neemo for 5 years followed by my second born for a year. This is by far the best daycare in town. Unfortunately we moved locations so have to move my second born to another daycare but this place will be forever in our hearts. The manager is just so awesome to deal with. Her team of wonderful teachers help kids and guide them making them such wonderful young dependant kids. I was really worried as we moved locations and had to send my first born to a school where she had no friends and didn’t know anyone. But she went on with ease and made so many friends at her new school and this is all thanks to Neemo the confidence showed was all something Neemo installed in her. My kids absolutely adore this place and all the teachers especially Kamini!!! I am so sad we had to leave

  • Jamie

Our son attended Neemo for 3 and half years and we always found the staff to be the warmest and kindest people we could hope for. Through various holiday and cultural events our entire family was welcomed into Neemo. We really appreciated the constant contact, with Neemo providing daily updates on the kid’s activities and regular focused feedback on our son’s progress. We would highly recommend Neemo.

  • Hedy Dong

My daughter stayed at Neemo for almost 6 months. It was her first kindy, from a shy / unsettling toddler become confident little gal, I really appreciated all the teachers from the Koru room to help her to grow and so happy to see her learned so much at Neemo. Particularly I am very impressed she can sing so many songs before turning 2. Unfortunately, we have to leave Neemo due to moving. But definitely our whole family enjoyed the time and experience at Neemo
