(Note that it is best to have gender balance with children being taught and cared for by both men and women. In Home-based ECE this criterion relates to visiting teachers only)

I couldn't be happier with the childcare centre. My mother is an ex early childhood teacher so I listened to her advice as to what to look for in a centre. I have found the staff really helpful and supportive especially when my second child came 11 days before my booked in c/s date and I needed extra care for my son. I have had lots of comments from people about how good my son's language and manners are. Some of which I will take credit for but I know a lot is due to the quality of care he is receiving at the centre. The staff don't just watch and educate the children they also care for the children.
