On our initial visit to Lower Hutt Playcentre we were welcomed with friendly smiles and warm conversation. My daughter (18 months) was so curious and interested at all the different activities that were on offer. We did a couple more visits and decided with confidence that this was the place for us. 6 months later my daughter is flourishing and I have made some really good friends. The Playcentre system of child-led learning and parents as first teachers means that I am able to actively participate in my daughters learning. We have a lot of fun on session and being at Lower Hutt Playcentre feels like I'm hanging out with family :)
