1. Safe and hygienic handling practices are implemented with regard to any animals at the service.

 

2. All animals are able to be restrained. (Note: Imagine trying to restrain a cat, putting a leash on the mice and goldfish or chickens?. Probably the intent of this requirement is not that all animals are to be tied up and caged, but that any health and safety dangers to children from animals are minimised by how they are housed and cared for, e.g. chickens are not allowed to roam in the sandpit or walk where babies are crawling).
